A first-of-its-kind initiative in India, Center for Sustainable Finance (CSF) aims to build an ecosystem through knowledge sharing and networking with various stakeholders, that would reorient the financial intermediation provided by banks and capital markets towards sustainable development. CSF aims to make the financial system resilient to increased financial risks while enabling a Just transition to a low-carbon economy.

CSF offers support to policymakers and regulators to make this integral shift in capital allocation by developing a common platform for engagement, enabling dialogue between stakeholders; sharing best practices, research, and analysis; delivering capacity-building workshops for banks and financial institutions; as well as providing inputs for policy-making and financial sector regulation. CSF is managed by Climate Policy Initiative (CPI).
